I love how directors and writers are going back to the original lore for vampires. They have to ask for “permission” to enter a place that they don’t belong. You have to invite the evil in.

This is a day-one watch. I'm trying to avoid new trailers because this looks dope based on the initial teaser. We need a solid vampire film, especially with a black cast.

Getting a prohibition era southern From Dusk Til Dawn vibe from this. Jack O’Connell feigning a corny picker is super creepy. They love to sing for their supper I take it? Can’t wait to see this one.

Horror isn't my bag but Coogler + MBJ deserves my time as they teach a most-likely gory but invaluable lesson about NOT allowing strangers/the uninvited/vampires in your house ☠️ The context of Southern Caucasians trying to get into a (mostly) Black Establishment during the time a century ago when the reverse was violently faught against is terrifying enough 😱

Hungry as dogs? I thinking werewolves but when they asked for an invitation to come in I was thinking vampires and I think thats Hailee Steinfeld saying "We gonna kill every last one of you" including the laugh. Can't wait

Yall gotta go see this movie. My expectations were blown out of the water. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I thought it was beautiful. There was this one musical scene that made me feel something.

Excellent movie!!! I saw it today. From a spiritual warfare perspective...it's spot on. Spiritual warfare from the christian perspective is real...and it's like this. Every christian is different and their experiences may be different from mine but I personally have experienced heavy warfare. There are some christians that don't believe in spiritual warfare but it's real. The tormenting spirits, the battle with family, the battle for your soul, the battle for your freedom, music is spiritual, etc. I am black and have a history of slavery in my bloodline so I understand that aspect and the spiritual warfare of that. It was an amazing movie!!!! Excellent acting; excellent production; excellent script.
