Evan Redman is competing at his first race meeting in his late father's much loved supercharged MGTC.
This car has Australian GP history as the 'Red Cigar' and was purchased in 1966 by Jeff Redman and built to its current form. Jeff competed in Regularity, Sprints and Hill Climbs for many years and drove this car at the Inaugural Wakefield Park meeting. After Jeff's passing in 2018, Evan has taken over driving duties.

This is Regularity for Front Engine Racing & Sports Cars event 3 on Sunday morning

I remember times seeing this MGTC going up through King Edward Park as an entrant in the Mattara Hillclimb many years ago, with Jeff at the wheel. À "colourful" character indeed.

Sadly missed. It’s great to see the next generation behind the wheel.

My first car was a 50 TD. Loved it and wish I never sold it. Went through a couple of Lotus car's after the MG. Still wish I had a TC.
