I’ve been saying it the whole time. Jones knows there’s millions of nerds who want nothing more than to see him lose. When he was first asked about Tom he said no one knows him outside the uk. Then Tom got the interim and when Jon was asked he dismissed him. Continuing to dismiss him made the nerds talk about aspinall over and over on the internet and created a narrative. The only reason anyone ever talks about Tom is in relation to jones. Jones created the promotion for this fight and made it a huge event. The nerds were just too dumb to see the play
