What's your thought about possible Starship V2.0 legs? Which design is your favourite?

After my earlier guess at that six legged "water tower" ... I am not going to even try to make a guess on these legs.

Man, incredible how fast new developments happen. Even with 2 episodes a week! Full duration test fire of the raptor vacuum engine being tweeted by SpaceX just before this episode was uploaded, so freaking cool. I would guess legs similar to Falcon would be the easiest path forward, but maybe not, im definitely not an engineer.

I've waited far too long (half a week?) For this episode! Anticipation kills. I'm sure it's awesome, time to watch now.

This is easily the best video series on SpaceX and the development of starship. Well done Felix, this is simply outstanding work and makes for a lot of enjoyment. Thank you.

The rate of growth in BC is exponential! I recall back when we waited around for days just to watch them make a couple of rings. Now they are cranking out rocket parts at an astounding rate. It is almost difficult to keep up with which prototype they are working on these days.

CLEARLY no expert here, but of the three leg options you presented, I liked NickHenning3Ds concept (the second one) the most.

Thanks for the update, it's awesome to see how fast they build huge constructions !

I’m sitting in my ponies’ field shelter while the British weather makes a fist at a storm. I love that you, Mary, Felix, Tim, Kev and the NASA Space flight make Boca Chica seem just down the road. All the ‘thumb-downs’ miss the point. Mary must be knackered!!! Hope she realises how thankful we all are! xxxx

Can't wait for super heavy's testing. The legs will be form, fit, function, and price. Has any one noticed star ship looking more like a chrome squid? I don't mean that in a bad way. Bet every one working on the project wears dark eye wear do to stainless glare on sunny days. I bet star ship and super heavy stacked will shine like a light house after the sun sets. that rocks

One comment i've seen time and again from Engineers is that SN7.1 failure mode was not at the weld but a split across the weld. This makes sense as the weld would be stronger than the sheet steel itself. Some crazy pressures reached i imagine, which is great news for SpaceX.

How fortunate we are to live to see this.
We are leaving our cradle, not just dreaming of it!
