As someone still new to FCP, I find your videos so helpful. You explain things so well (A lot of FCP bloggers have great content but they just go so fast I can't follow it). But for example even this video, presumably aimed at people familiar enough to need shortcuts, was a massive help. Just for letting me know what tools are available and what they do, let alone how to access them quickly.

The following has nothing to do with shortcuts, but is very helpful for me:
Double-clicking on an audio track opens the audio components like ctrl + s.
To my knowledge, no one has ever mentioned this in any video.
But I didn't know ctrl + opt + s yet.

When I was first learning FCP I kept notes of things I did on a regular basis. Then when I got a chance I looked up or created my own keyboard shortcuts for those actions. A simple key press is much quicker than searching through menus or dragging and dropping. After a surprisingly short time muscle memory kicks in and you barely have to think about what you’re doing.
