Do you guys have plans to make a video about laser welding in the future?

I just got an interview at a tire and rim company to do this welding. Seems like a good job but lower on pay than a few other welding jobs. I just finished college and have no experience in this, but do have experience running machines.

Yes having the robot weld whatever peice you want is fun and games but the parts I have to make consist of 130" 1/2" round rod with 7 30" x 1/2" round rod (evenly spaced) each side of the rod gets welded twice we have a north and south program for each rod and every north and south side has 27 welds not including the 3 extra 130" rods you have to do by hand because our window for our robot is not wide enough, I am 19 and work along side my dad and make these all day the run time all together in including the T-clean program takes 36:52 without a wire stick. Remember each rod has a weld on each side 2 x 30 x 7 gives us 420 welds and each weld has a separate program each consisting of 13 movements and you can see where this gentleman is showing Bob what to do you have to hold in the bottom yellow lever and the SHIFT button in order to move anything on the robot, this makes you hand hurt after a while lol

wait until AI will be integrated with robotic arms ... that will be fun to watch, no need for complex X, Y, Z programming

Hmmm.... 3D CNC printer but with a welder attached, the possibilities are endless.

Tho i completely understand the concept and reasoning of a robots welding, great production stuff. I hate haveing converstaions with people who are throughly convinced robots will take all our jobs. In turn, i strongly dislike welding robots. What do you think?

So the sound of that an that gas this is a spray or globular transfer? Can we get a cut an etch? With as crowned up as that is doesn't seem like it was very good penetration.

What is the average pay for an automated maintenance technician? I will program, run cycles, routine maintenance, change over fixtures, operator trainer, and repair.

I want to let you know that we programmers are not as stupid as you think. And your trade is not as complicated as you think.

All robots can do is super repetitive stuff forever, like building the same piece every day non stop until they make 48000 of them, so if every job you do is different from the previous, or if the quantity is small enough so is not worth renting a robot, a place, and paying someone to program it, then you should be ok right?

Tips for welding MIG uphill? I can’t seem to get uphill. Every other position and stick uphill works great for me.

pretty interesting, robotic welders are only be as good as guy programming them, basically being foreman to a machine, but it's here, looks complaining to learn, an what is right hand rule lol don't let the left hand catch ya lol take care thanks for sharing

That would have to be the least impressive thing I have ever seen, you could have got it to weld a Y pipe intersection or around a pipe but no Just plain text, a machine from 50 years ago could have done that!
