I thought it might be useful to do an overview of the main ecological themes in Biology. This module is very broad and quite intimidating and it might help to look at the bigger picture rather than the details.

@DrBhasvar I will do what ever you want me to do ( very serious ) if you help me in this question :
When investigating the effect of light intensity on the abundance of a specific species
We are supposed to try and control all the factors (other than light) that could affect the percentage abundance
So, temperature, pH of soil, mineral content of soil, water content of soil and topography.
My question is how do we control these factors ?
In my unit 6 alternative to practical paper, there is 2 marks available for how to control these variables but they don’t say how to control them they just say “description of how this variable can be controlled”

Please help I asked everybody I know (well, only those who take A level bio ) nobody knows
