iPhone Fold pricing revealed!

As someone who whole heartily does not want a foldable phone I hope they don’t switch to only doing that in the future. Also as a tech loving person I’m eager to see how they do it and how it works.

So much depends on its exact capabilities.

The form factor has some appeal, I often leave my iPad at home because it's too big to carry ... but then I want a somewhat larger screen.

Can it run BOTH iOS and iPadOS apps?

For $1000 premium over an iPhone Pro Max, I want an M4 or newer M series processor, TB5, and the same cameras as the Pro Max phone.

Because basically I am paying for both an iPhone and an iPad ... so ....gimme the value.

Fold 4 here and almost 3 years with it and it's the best phone I have ever had....amazing this is the longest I have stayed with one phone and it's still going like a power house

There has to be more than what's pictured here, especially for the forecasted price point. Until it's as thin as a regular iPhone when folded, and has an external display that would allow it to be used with one hand, you know, like an iPhone; this is just a copycat device chasing a niche segment of the Android market with attractive margins on the hardware. And even at that, I still don't see the value to the customer and still have reservations on how the software will take advantage of the dual-form factor device. Just buy a base iPad along with an iPhone (even a Pro iPhone) for significantly less $$.

I will stick with the Pro Max versions or Ultra whatever they call them in the future. Never been into foldable phones and that price point too high.
Just out of curiosity, not trying to be disrespectful, why do you hold the mic in your hand Instead of putting it on your shirt, or on phone / camera 🤔🤔 is it because it's just a " short " so it's not worth the time of attaching etc. As always thanks for the constant updates Andrew
