Teonna's journey has been a hard one. So many people have died to help her: her grandmother, her father, her boyfriend, the shepherd Native American. And then those who weren't trying to pursue her: the little boy that the sheriff trampled, the four Commanche. And finally, those who pursued her and tried to kill her spirit and body: the three priests, the chief priest, the sheriff, and one of the deputies. Teonna's journey is one of the true stories of the American West. To belittle her story is sad and disappointing.

It's clear the Rainwater story is as important to Sheridan as the Dutton story, and I have loved Teonna's story and journey. Saddens me that so many "fans", judging by comments here and elsewhere, dismiss it. They just want cowboys and shootouts, missing the broader story Sheridan is telling. Their loss.

I’m appalled by how the clergy treated the natives as savages and took matters into their own hands. I loved Teonna as the brave young female warrior of the series🪶
