Where should you build garrisons?

Any garrison beats no garrison...but why not be a little strategic about where you build them?

Take it from a recon main who is obsessed with destroying enemy garrisons...predictable garrisons are as good as gone!

If you are able to solidly keep it up, i started following a 3, 2, 1 rule of garrys.
3 on your furthest back, 2 on the next, 1 on the middle. This ensures if you ever get surprised by an enemy push [as most people dont defend] you only get stronger the further back you go.
This also allows you to tell if the enemy is sneaking around behind you and leaves 2 more garrisons at any point and time for attack.
Add on the possibility of 2 half traks out and this has ensured a constant win rate providing the enemy team doesnt have 2/3 dedicated garrison hunting squads.
Ive won 11 command games using this strat
Granted this is not for everyone. And leaves the middle open to sudden pushes. But always ensures worst case scenario only gets tougher for the enemy and leans into the aggro most teams seem to have.

Id like to see some garrison reworks. Seasoned players will know where the typical garrisons are and make short work of taking them out. My solution for this is to allow Medics to drop or build a medical tent within 30 feet of a garrison that only they can spawn on EVEN if the garrison is red and being dismantled. This allows them to be a last resort to protect the garrison much like how a medic soldier would be in that situation and gives much added utility to the medic class. Two problems, one stone imo.

Just remember Your commander is not a garrison god
If you see no back up garrisons you can make a sqaud and build some. It’s as much your fault as it is the commanders and the other squad leaders if there are no back ups

Some servers have a problem having more than 1 Gary and SL that know how to place ops. I’ll happily wait 20 minutes for a spot on one of the better servers.

While the reality of these days on consoles is a game without Commanders 😂

You loose the sector and then you walk 1km from base and you loose another sectors till you get there 😅
