TOPIC: GUARD YOUR HEART

SCRIPTURE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You are not doing anything about your character until you have started doing something about what you are thinking.
The beginning place of character is the thought realm.
So, if you allow your thoughts to be unhealthy, it will lead you into unhealthy actions and habits which will ultimately establish unhealthy character.
My counsel is: watch what goes on in the mind.
Remember this: You are not doing anything about your character until you have started doing something about what you are thinking.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Guard your mind with all diligence.
2. Reject negative thoughts and avoid unhealthy inputs.
3. Cultivate healthy thoughts by the intake of healthy inputs, especially the Word of God.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to guard my mind. Help me to consistently feed on Your Word so I can develop a holy mind-set and maintain godly character, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
