New York Giants Jalen Milroe draft rumors are sparking up with the latest reports on the former Alabama quarterback and the Giants possibly drafting him with the 35th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. in his final mock draft had the Giants drafting Milroe at pick #34, then ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky went on NFL Live saying the Giants are one team he’d handpick to draft Jalen Milroe. Jalen Milroe highlights include a decent 2024 season, but a decline from what he did in 2023. The NY Giants are also having a top 30 visit with Milroe creating more smoke the Giants could draft him. New York did sign Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, putting them out of the running to draft a quarterback at the number 3 pick. NY Giants Now host Marshall Green takes a deep dive into the latest rumors on Jalen Milroe on today’s New York Giants YouTube video.

Mel Kiper Mock Draft:
Pick #3: Abdul Carter
Pick #34: Jalen Milroe

Dan Orlovsky on Jalen Milroe
If I could handpick one team for Jalen Milroe it would be the New York Giants in the 2nd round. This would be the ideal situation, number one, Brian Daboll’s Alabama ties. I remember hearing Nick Saban talk about Jalen Milroe and said this guy changes the game. I remember Brian Daboll talking about how Nick Saban told him the #1 guy he could not stop in college over the past couple of years was Jayden Daniels. #2 The impact he'd had with Josh Allen, but mainly the quarterback run and that gets me to point #3 which is desperation. They're desperate and if it comes to a point this season where Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen are like, Hey, we need to do something to keep our jobs, I just sit there and go, if you got Jalen Milroe, you can go full Lamar Jackson rookie mode. Where here comes 15 times a game because this young man, while he's improving as a passer, is an absolute rocket ship with the ball in his hands. I think he's got more talent as a thrower than maybe some of the inconsistencies of the season last year showed itself. He's got to get much, much better in the red zone, but this would be the perfect place for both the player and the organization.

I don't have a Round 1 grade on Jalen Milroe, and none of the evaluators I've spoken with in the NFL do, either. But it takes only one. And mock drafts aren't about my rankings; they're about the intel.

Milroe was a guest on Good Morning Football today and did an awesome job taking questions from the 4 hosts. He also spoke about his long time relationship with Jalen Hurts. Dab's love's his duel threat QB's, he'll get him right as far as his throwing accuracy So YES go get him.

Would be extremely stupid imo to trade up for Milroe. We need to take a starting DT with 34 or 65. We HAVE to. I’d be okay with Milroe at 34, as long as we get a shot at a starting caliber DT at 65

Absolutely CANNOT give up 65 to get Milroe

Abdul Carter is looking like the favorite to be selected at number 3 overall. Also, I wouldn't mind Jalen Milroe win the 2nd round.
In my opinion, I think Milroe kinda plays like a young Jalen Hurts

I think that’s a Great Pick Up now for the first round this just shows you yeah we need to get Travis Hunter we need that Offensive help

Milroe is extremely athletic, he’s a run first qb. He will need to sit for 2 years. He has one pass that he’s good at, he’s not good at short or intermediate passes. Struggles to read defenses. Idk.

Y The only way Milroe is a Giant they have to trade down at least 2x within the 4-20th overall picks and draft him mid 1st round! That would allow them to acquire multiple draft picks 2nd to 5th rounds and rebuild the Giants roster!

I can’t even think of one scenario where we should pick Milroe in the first. We can’t afford to trade pick 65 we still have a lot of holes to fill in our roster

Nothing wrong with throwing a dart at the board… The potential this guy has through the roof… True boom, or bust… You never know… You just never ever know, we might get lucky

I would love Milroe, he has raw talent. Arguably has the smoothest deep ball of all the QBs. Yea he needs to work how to harness it with short and medium passes but I think that can be fixed and tightened up. The man can really move with his legs as well. Very mobile. I think we should grab him in the 2nd round. He could be Jalen Hurts with a great deep ball and even better mobility
