So gratifying to see such attention lavished on this song! The artwork looks convincingly custom-made for this video—clearly the finest version on YouTube. Well done!

Wow this is so nostalgic! I was in high school when this was popular in the early 1960s. Love that it’s here

I never heard this but I've listened at least 25 times so far.  Great song.  Thanks...

The Chordettes were both of and ahead of their time. I just discovered there is an Oscar Peterson jazz version - might that have been the original? I know a trend then was to add lyrics to jazz melodies, which didn't always work but it certainly does here. This track is absolutely priceless; they make it sound so easy! They had so many gorgeous songs; they could sing in so many styles and were credible in all of them. (One great forgotten one: "A Broken Vow, " from 1960. They could do "girl group, " too - heck, they sort of invented it!)

Just came across this song. It is so beautiful. It’s a shame people often just associate the Chordettes with “Mr. Sandman” and “Lollipop”

The harmony of this group is so precise and you can hear the individuals really being so careful to add to the group sound.

So glad I can hear this song again. It was one of my favorites when I was around 12 years old. I always kept up with the popular songs during the 50"s.

This somehow ended up on a 50s playlist I made...and I love it, a really beautiful song. Should have been a hit is right.

What a beautiful record! Like the poster of this video says, it was the flip side of "Just Between You and Me." It should have been a big hit in its own right.

I grew up with these songs. The girls themselves were in my dreams as a 12 year old. I love the discipline of harmony. I saw where others commented on the Ink Spots. I am pleased to have seen them in person at a company function in the early 70's . Thay sang a wonderful repertoire! Then there is the Mills Brothers and The Platters. Not to forget the McGuire Sisters. Thanks for posting it has awaken memories.

I thought this song would be easy to sing in all four parts. I was wrong. ..Too complex for me haha. Very beautiful :)
