I'm old school. I don't think actors should share too much about their private lifes to millions of followers. It get's in the way of their actualy work. It's gonna get harder for the audience to see them as a different character on film/stage.
But then again alot of "actors" seems to only be in it for the fame and not for the work.

You are amazing! You might realize this already but you are really helping people. I’m new to acting, completely terrified of what my future is. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll “make it” or ill have a life of working for horrible wage and dreaming of being happy. Singing and acting are my passion. Thank you for reassuring me!

Hey, I only have 53 followers and I’m proud of it. Thank you for giving aspiring actors like myself tips and tricks whenever you can, it truly means a lot. Especially if you don’t have that big of an area to actually get your acting career started. Thank You.

Thanks, Amy. I really do love my social media connections; especially these days.

You cracked me up, audibly, at 3:42. 😊

BTW, Thank you for your post about the importance of branding. I’m starting to see, for the first time, where there could be a niche for me, and that’s encouraging. 🧡😊

Great video! Do you think it's positive or negative, in regards to casting directors, for actors to have other creative ventures on the go? A couple of days ago I asked an actor who had just self published a novel, if he'd liked to be interviewed for one of my blog series. He declined, saying he didn't want to promote his book too much, and solely wanted to appear on social media as an actor, as he thought casting directors get confused if someone has too much on the go

Sorry for the long post. I've been acting over 10 years now, mainly indie films and projects but I have always maintained and promoted my other creative passions as I can't separate them. They're all a part of me. Be interested to see what your thoughts are ✌️
