How does it feel to have our games running on the Steam Deck? We cornered Swen and asked him!

We never did get that Steam Deck back.

The most important question...Can you play the Steam Deck while wearing a suit of armor?

As an airline pilot that carries a steam deck in my flight bag, and as a super huge Larian fan, this is fantastic news. Love everything y’all do and keep up the great work! Larian is truly a bright light in the darkness that has become game development studios.

It is so good to hear you guys care about the steam deck. RPG‘s are really hard to do on handheld so it would be really nice to have a good UI. I’m so excited to see you what uou do

Hope this bodes well for BG3, and i'm glad to see bigger studios fully supporting the Steam Deck!

"This game, man". I can feel the strain DOS 1 had on the team at the time. During early access, we threw everything we wanted at you and you created a blueprint for all your new games going forward. May it bloom even more in the future.

I'm so glad that I've supported your games over the years, keep up the good work, I look forward to taking your stories on my own journies thanks to the steam deck.

It’s not much of a surprise that the steam deck can run games. I was surprised when the switch got Divinity 2. Honestly it made me double dip and I bought a second time after first playing it on ps4. And I actually put in more time on the switch. Keep up the great work and looking forward to BG3!

This is actually really awesome. Playing DOS:2 and BG3 on the go would be incredible. I really want the Steam Deck even more now! Thanks for supporting this and for making sure it runs well!

That tadpole in my head made me forget I subscribed to Larian Studios.

Swen at the end looked like a grandma reminiscing over a book. Good stuff!

Any way we can get 16:10 support and not just 16:9?. Would like to not have black bars on the screen.

I love how proud of your work you all are. Divinity Original Sin II is perhaps my favourite RPG on PC to date (possibly on any system of this format). To be able to play with my wife, who isn't a big gamer, along side my best friend- and to have her absorbed completely, is testament to how accessible and enjoyable the game is. We're just waiting patiently on more Baldur's Gate III progress, having explored most of what we have access to now. I wonder how hard it would be, or even if worthwhile, to have various 5e ruleset system choices within Baldur's Gate III. I recently have been playing Solasta, which is a very linear version of the tabletop format, very good in its own right but far more restrictive. Some of the battle elements, or even the combat settings choices, might lend well to Baldur's Gate III. Hopefully you guys can incorporate a dungeon creator mode, even just for exporting PDF images for the table top format.

Again, thanks for an amazing game with clear heart and soul poured into its development. I studied game design 15 years ago but never pursued it as a career, so I have no real experience of how much effort went in, but it seems to have been a phenomenal amount. The little details really showed.

Divinity Original Sin I and II were the RPG experience I didn't know was possible but somehow always wanted since the early turn based RPG years. 10/10.

Unsure whether or not I’ll be getting Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam Deck, as much as I want it. However it was incredible playing Original Sin 2 with steam workshop support - mods on a handheld device? Incredible.

I just started playing DOS2 on my Deck. The text is a bit small for my old eyes, but with the combat being turn-based really make for a relaxing and VERY playable experience.
