Surviving metal bat's death blow (Strongest battlegrounds)

So uhh, my theory woul be that my first initial ash forwar, or when I was charging at him, I hit him originally when I touche him but he still have immunity to stunning I guess after he got up from being bonke to the ground, making me hit him twice actually. So, the game prob counte my first initial hit seeing as how he manage to eath counter me even though I was pretty far away from him too, an the eath counter hit soun triggere before the cutscene playe also. This is just my theory though...

Technically it's surviveable in the video we see him use his ult during the cutscene which gave him full health and only takes 50% hp (in fact Death Blow is one shot but it's only one shot when it's fully done for example, death blow deals 100% hp but in this case it only does 50)
Edit : my mistake i thought the last blow deal 50 percent but it does 70 sorry

all you have to do is use a move like red before he hits you

I've seen something like this before. If you kill someone and get deathblowed, you will live because garous passive works in the cutscene. The stomach hit does 40%, and the big blow does 80%.

Theirs actually another way, if you hit someone with the first move on garou and run into the death blow while still using the skill it won’t do full damage done times
