People are failing to mention the main driving factors of extinction:
Animal agriculture on land and fishing practices in the ocean. In short, our obsession with eating meat and other animal products.

Coral reefs are like the rainforests of the ocean, housing over 25% of all marine life (WWF.org)

Poultry farming also contributes to dead corral reefs because of all the acid in the poultry-feces spilling into the ocean, specifically in Australia.

Can anyone give examples of any animals that have gone extinct specifically because of animal agriculture? I’m having trouble finding any examples though the deforestation of Rain Forest, ocean dead zones, run offs from farms, and desertification alone should be obvious that species in those areas are wiped out. But… I can’t find any examples.
