Yours probably came in that envelope because it's just a replacement.

I wish this card had multipliers like the business version. No way a $125 AF cars should have better multipliers than your top of the line Marriott product.

Anything that says "Presort standard" even with a stamp is trash. Anything that says "First Class Postage" IS NOT trash. Good rule of thumb when opening ANY mail.

I wish AmEx upgraded the Aspire card since it does have a higher AF.

Haven't received mine yet, requested a replacement card though, so hopefully they didnt mail me the old spg lux. Card. Lol thumbs up!

How would you compare Marriott/SPG experiences to Hilton or Hyatt? My wife and I have 3 Bonvoy cards, but we're 'less than thrilled with our experiences thus far. Hilton stays have been much more pleasant. No Hyatt properties within 1.5hrs of where we reside.

I received the email saying that they sent mine out, but still haven't gotten it. Who cares though, its a sock drawer card. Every time these metal cards show up, the novelty lasts all of 30 seconds, then I never think about it again.

spg destgn is my preference the purple is classy, but to improve it was to make it metal and purple not black

And use it on my frequent travel!
