OMG I can't believe I've been watching this for five years!

Having just purchased a 2018 Audi, of which I plan to drive around 22K miles per year, I hope that proper maintenance goes a long way in bolstering it’s long term reliability. I’d like to keep this vehicle for at least 8 years.

Nice Initech mug Linkov... Did you finish all the TPS Reports? Seriously, just catching up on "old" episodes I haven't watched. Great shows, as always...

Last summer I was considering a purchase of a BMW 2 series, an Audi A3 or Acura ILX. You gave all good marks for reliability at that time. (Since then the Acura has fallen from 4/5 to 1/5 in your reliability score.) I was scared away from the Germans, although I liked them both, because of the potential cost once out of warranty. I am happy with my choice.

Loved the last few minutes here. It's a lot more interesting when you guys show your personalities!

Have you guys done a safety system comparison? I'd love to see that. Which emergency braking system reacts fastest, see's further, how hard it hits the brakes. Or how well these automatic cruise control systems compared. Like if one is jerky or another slow to react.

While I am dubious of the safety of autonomous driving, _today_, is it only a valid technology if it has _ZERO_ failures? No. Saying this is "proof" the technology is not yet ready is nonsense. The technology will _never_ be perfect. However, it will be _better_ than the status quo, human-operated world. How many human-operated vehicles caused human causalities on the same day as this Uber accident in AZ?

Holy cow, I made it on the wall of shame/fame! What an honor!

When talking about emergency braking systems, it seems like the only information presented is whether a given vehicle has it or not. Other than the IIHS data about the effectiveness of the braking at 12 and 25 mph, I cannot find any data that reports the effectiveness of the different systems at higher speeds. Does CR have any plans to start testing vehicles for the effectiveness of these systems at various speeds?

Someone ought to insert that Sriracha bottle in every future episode somewhere in the set.

Fun Show Idea: a drive with all the hosts inside one SUV and arguing with each other (one camera for each person for maximum effect)...

In a new car with an electronic shifter, is it possible to shift to neutral when the car is disabled when you need to push or tow it?

Too bad they did not test the Regal GS - that model we are told is more sporty handling, has a bigger V6 engine and more power. Also interesting in that the Regal outscored the Stinger in their testing, but they like it better - means that their numbers don't really mean much in their testing.

Talking Cars Staff, What are your thoughts about reliability of the Audi Q7 with the 3.0t (2011 or newer). I want to buy a used Q7 with 100k miles or so. Is this a good move considering reliability?

Here in South Jersey (Philly suburbs) -- the Kia Dealers SUCK! I've tested a Kia Optima at multiple Kia dealers and hated their sales department. I refuse to drive over 1 hour to a dealer for car service. This is why I have my 3rd Buick Regal and probably will get a 4th again when the lease is up next year.

I think there will have to be an autonomous lane or highway, if it is to work. But I would love to see it happen

After watching the dash cam video, I blame the pedestrian for her own As an Audi S4 owner, the 2013+ are reliable, but I don’t think they’re 15 to 20 years reliable. And everything on them are pricey to replace.
