I have the Samsung Fold already but I'm still within the window to exchange for the Pixel Fold if I wish.
I have an active toddler that I like to capture all his moments so having a fast & accurate camera is important with easy to edit photos. I assume the Pixel also has motion photos so can edit to get best frame too?
Also would like to know if there's much difference in the battery life in real world day please.

It's worth mentioning that (as far as I'm aware) the device DOES NOT support Aptx Adaptive or Aptx Lossless. So bear that in mind when making your purchase.

Sorry Aaron, but except maybe for the audio codecs, all the positives you mentioned for the Pixel Fold are available on the Fold 6, and contrary to what the Western media wants to sell, it's for One-Ui and Samsung apps that people buy the Galaxy.

Samsung should have long ago simply made an external screen with at least the same width as an iPhone X / 11 Pro, put better photo sensors, and put a battery 🔋 of at least 4700-5000mAh in its Folds, they refused to listen to their customers, and their customers punished them, the sales figures of Fold 6 are disastrous unlike the rest of the industry in the segment 🤷🏽‍♂️

On the other hand, when some people say that the outer screen of the Fold 6 is still too narrow (it is 3mm wider than that of the iPhones Mini), when the whole industry has applauded the iPhone Minis, I find it quite hypocritical.

But, frankly, I don't see the Pixel 9 Pro Fold as a really dangerous competitor, a threat to the Galaxy Fold 6.
The OnePlus Open, Honor Magic V3, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro are on the other hand a great threat.

Also, if it's just a large external display you're looking for on a Fold, honestly, the OnePlus Open, Honor Magic V3, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro are better Fold than the Pixel 9 Pro XL 🤷🏽‍♂️

Ps: for me, I mean for me, a Fold that has a restricted multitasking and doesn't handle a pen 🖊 is really of no interest.

Cant wait to get my Pixel 9 fold which is on pre order. Got the 512Gb model in Obsidian.
I also own a Fold 6 1Tb Navy Blue which I'm using now.
Paid them all in full/cash with warranty and accessories.
These are such nice toys to have but i think the Pixel 9 will be faster with my wifi 7 setup: 2X Asus Gt-BE98 Pro with 10gbe wired backhaul. Internet speed is 3gb up and down (fastest available in my area). I'm also predicting that the Pixel 9 Fold will move files (small and large), photos, and videos faster vs the Fold 6. I'm using an 8 bay Synology NAS with 10gbe and 8x 22TB (2 fault tolerance) server with 2x 2TB NVME drives for caching.

The key thing to keep in mind about the Google pixel 9 pro fold is the following I don't know how many people have gone through the following thing I've read a lot of posts on Reddit and they all seem to talk about the pixel 9 pro fold and the fact it develops a bunch of lumps in the center where it folds I have a z-fold 6 which is miles ahead of the nine pro fold in software and I bought it since it went live for pre-order and I haven't encountered that problem in the center fold and I even talked to Google support and they had no clue about it someone did tell me they shouldn't be there so I returned it and bought the porcelain so now I will see what happens if the same thing comes up after a few days before my return window is dead I will return it and use use my z fold 6 although I will miss Google's cover display but sometimes it's best to stick with a foldable who's on their 6th generation even though design wise it has stagnated it's still offers you a better piece of mind after encountering those lumps on the center of the screen where the crease is it makes you think if it will happen again
