In a recent interview, she says she has nightmares about water, because it ties back to her toxic relationship and it’s a symbol of darker times. She references water a lot in songs. In pool, she’s underwater with no air in her lungs, in dead horse, she’s being held underwater. Both pool and dead horse, which have to do with her ex, the water is so heavy on her and it’s killing her, but here in this song, the water isn’t scary. She can see, she can breathe, and she isn’t sinking and how in the past, what she thought was water, was concrete (Chad) and she dove straight in. These last five songs are definitely hinting at her being in a relationship, and if she is, I’m so happy for her because wow you can really hear how happy she is while she sings these last five songs. I’m happy for her, truly. It’s a wonderful feeling to be out of dark murky water, it’s beautiful, the feeling of knowing you’re in clear water now.

I hope this album makes us all realise that being able to talk about our feelings, even the “negative” ones is the best solution to everything. It comes with fear, but it’s makes us more human and grown. Hayley came to tell us this with this one.

This song makes me feel like that since it's her last song that she uploaded, it's like the ending of a book.
A beautiful book with drama, sadness, love, confusion and everything else in it that makes it...how would I say it in one I guess. It's just something that should not exist but it does. Hayley you are special in my heart because you give me comfort when I need it. Your voice is just...you can't compare it.

Met a lovely man years ago at Hi-Fi Cruisin and it was Hayley’s grandat. He was wearing an Elvis TCB necklace like Hayley’s tattoo. He told the story of how he built Hayley a performance stage in his backyard when she was just a little kid. I remember how we talked about Hayley’s career and he was so proud of his granddaughter. What a wonderful tribute to include her grandat in the song.

I hope that Hayley can read this. I've been listening to your voice and belts since I was a silly little kid. Now I'm getting into my 20's and part of me is terrifyed. I'm also discovering a lot of trauma from my past, and doing my best to move on from fear. I just want to show how grateful I'm. This album is definitly making a mark in my life. Also, I'm very proud of you. I'm an artist too, and heavenly inspired by this project. That's the beauty of art, it never ends in to the emissor, it's an endless net of conections.
