Detailed install of Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop into VirtualBox. Download Ubuntu desktop .iso file. Create and configure virtual guest for Ubuntu in VirtualBox. Install Ubuntu into virtual guest. Update and upgrade Ubuntu. Install VirtualBox Guest Additions into Ubuntu. Configure Ubuntu Privacy and Appearance settings.

Thank you for a very careful and clear presentation. All went well except for that part about virtualbox utils. The internet said you could also download it but apt-get went to the drive where Ubuntu was  installed. But after several repeats, your method worked?? Your presentation is about the clearest I could get. Others gloss over things. I believe that you must be a teacher  of some kind because of the slow and careful way in which you explain  things.

Hi folks i have one question, it's bothering me this warning:" This will delete any files on the disk" when i do installation. Can you please tell me when you was done with installation did your files was deleted??? Thank you!

I deleted my cd when I removed the ubuntu iso file (first timer) cant get it back. dont know what to do, without reinstalling my software again. Practise makes a frustrated hairless person very fast.

i feel like i may have missed a step or maybe you missed a small detail, when you ask us to click on storage @19:10 when i get to the part hen you say "remove from Virtual Drive and i remove it im left with nothing to pick but the same iso file i just removed "i have no host D" or nothing but that ubuntu iso. as a result im unable to make my screen size larger, any advice ?  keep in mind i just installed VirtualBox as well as ubuntu for the first time so i dont have no other iso file nor installed vm like i see you have alot of os in your vm, , ,

Let me help you answer the question, "Why would you click the View>Auto-Resize Guest Display 2 times? " . it is because, the auto resize is automatically turned on as you installed the guest addition(you can see a small tick sign at the bottom left of the icon). So, the first time you clicked it, you turned it off, and for the second time, you turn it on again.

Hey I have a problem evreytime i log in it always kicks me out onto the log in screen again there is no message box again but another thing is i cant get in to the accleration menu in The System Menu Of virtual box.
