Yarn Over (YO) - Left Handed - Continental

Yarn overs are utilized in knitting for mainly two purposes; to create an increase in the stitch count and to provide a decorative element most often found in lace work.

There are four "type" of yarn overs that can be encountered:

Knit, Yarn Over, Knit (K, YO, K)
Knit, Yarn Over, Purl (K, YO, P)
Purl, Yarn Over, Purl (P, YO, P)
Purl, Yarn Over, Knit (P, YO, P)

knitting tutorials, for lefties, they really helped me a lot. I jst miss something: my pattern sais to twist knit ( or twist purl the nxt row after the yarn overs.. what so they mean? ( i knit continental, with anorwegian purl..

I sometimes do a pattern and I see big holes in my lace and sometimes I don’t see that hole. I use the same technique. What might be happening?

Bill, a left handed knitted keeps the thread around the left index finger in England, are you left handed??? Your knitting right handed
