About the Faculty:

Mannar Ahmed Siddiqui CA, ACCA, MCom, LLB, MA, PGCert Law (UK)-is an internationally certified and licensed corporate lawyer, trainer, educator and researcher with strong professional and academic background of law and finance.

He started his career as an associate of a chartered accountants’ firm while achieving nationwide first position in CA examinations and soon after his certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, he pursued his legal practice before The High Court(s) under a license of Attorney at-Law issued by The Bar Council.

He is currently working as a Partner, Corporate Law & Taxation in ‘Ashfaq Hussain & Co’, where he has been engaged in providing professional services to prominent corporate clients including public-sector entities, government owned institutions, statutory bodies, foreign owned companies and the financial sector including companies like PIA, HBFC, Trading Corporation of Pakistan, RCP, US Consulate General and Anti-Narcotics Cell.

He serves as an Editorial Board Member in country’s leading law research journal known as ‘Pakistan’s Journal of Law and Jurisprudence’ and also serving as the Faculty of Law with approved learning partners of ICAP, ACCA, University of London and University of Hertfordshire. He had also been nominated to conduct Workshops on ‘Advanced Corporate Laws and Practices’ for the Chartered Accountants by ICAP South.

Through his strong professional and educational background of Law and Finance, Mannar specializes in CorporateLaws including Company Laws, Securities Laws, Business Laws, Tax Laws, Banking Laws, Insurance Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, Competition Laws, Foreign Exchange Laws, Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Corporate Governance.

As an Anchorperson, he has presented over two-hundred television programs at five different television channels up till now, including programs on legal and financial aspects of the national and international affairs.

Besides that, he is a practicing martial artist and holds a master black-belt (three-degree black belt) in Korean Martial Arts certified from Seoul, South Korea.
