Bastards come out often at night every summer, crawl through by closed door into my room, and start flying around like they own the place. Imagine sleeping and hearing mini steps from these big fuckers on the floor, and then turning the light to see them fly straight into your face. I have nightmares because of them.

The best thing to do in the morning is plug the drain right before you turn on the water, fill the sink with water, and release the drain; that will flush the roach through.

There is a part in the "bathroom" sink drain that leads to the overflow in the bathroom sink (the hole at the upper part). Just an FYI, as this is a great place for roaches to live.

Not too long ago I poured Drano down the facebowl sink. Immediately a huge Texas Tree roach came out of shower sink. Over the next two days another tree roach was in my bed while I was asleep and bite me. The next day I found one in bottom of the toilet. The first one and the one that bite me were both very wet. So I don't think this theory holds much water.

I'll have to seal off the gap between the sheetrock and the drain pipes as best as possible then to prevent these terrors from spilling out into my kitchen.

I totally disagree, I know for a fact they come in thru the drain. I kept finding roaches in my tub, found by closing the drain I did not have anymore. Plus we have a toilet drain that does not have a toilet on it, when I went to remove a piece of plywood off, there was hundred roaches trying to come out.I did kill them in time and put the cover back on.

Great, so that's why people said if u saw one cockroach in ur house, there's probably hundreds or more.

I just saw like 3 roaches coming out from the drain!!! The thing is they were able to crawl out of the sink?

That is not what thigmotropism means, the definition is when a living thing meets an immovable object then moves away from that object such as when a tree grows near a wall, the branches grow up and around the wall, not constantly trying to go through the wall.

I don't believe this, we don't have roaches in our apt.. this morning seen a huge one of my counter.. almost died.. this thing wasn't a normal household hanging behind the picture frame roach, it was BIG.. how? cause it lives in the sewer.. only explanation.. if rats can get through the drains, so can roaches.. theyre invincible .. ugh.. I killed it.. knocked it's block off.. hopefully I don't see anymore; or I will have to call my landlord.

What??? So how did the cockroach come up my shower drain? I have never in 8 years had them now suddenly they are coming up from the basement, not that little curved pipe. I hate them so bad. Exterminator came today. Summer time in NYC is awful.

I have this bug that sticks its antennae out of this hole in the part of the sink closest to me. It's like it does that to check out what's going on. And then when I try to move closer he pops back in.
