These oranges cats were terrorized by a larger cat. Although Fairy the orange cat has learned to live with it, Carrot the other orange cat wasn't. He became very timid and would always hide whenever it's feeding time, letting other cats eat first before eating what's left.
However, even when the food bowl was near empty or was empty he wouldn't come out of hiding if the bully was still there.
One day, he was too hungry and jumped up the fence but the bully was there so he stayed back. Once again, he got too scared but ran back.
It wasn't until much later, when the woman was feeding cats again and only Fairy was there that Carrot was brave enough to step on the ledge again. Fairy had been beaten by the bully before too and upon seeing Carrot, gave him space to eat but Carrot was still too afraid. He kept looking around.
Thankfully, the woman gave her another bowl further away. Since that day, Carrot and Fairy became friends, always eating and drinking together even from the same cat bowl.
Now, even when the bully is around, Carrot would be brave enough to eat with them too. Knowing Carrot has his back. Let's hope they stay friends forever.
