Boruto Uzumaki (うずまきボルト, Uzumaki Boruto) is a missing-nin from Konohagakure's Uzumaki clan and a direct descendant of the Hyūga clan through his mother. While initially resentful of his father and his absence since becoming Hokage, Boruto eventually comes to respect his father and duties. Regardless, he vows to instead become a shinobi like his mentor, Sasuke Uchiha. He was later forced to defect from the village after he was framed for killing his parents by his adoptive brother Kawaki.[5]
Naruto Uzumaki (うずまきナルト, Uzumaki Naruto) is a shinobi of Konohagakure's Uzumaki clan. He became the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails on the day of his birth — a fate that caused him to be shunned by most of Konoha throughout his childhood. After joining Team Kakashi, Naruto worked hard to gain the village's acknowledgement all the while chasing his dream to become Hokage. In the following years, through many hardships and ordeals, he became a capable ninja, regarded as a hero both by the villagers, and soon after, the rest of the world, becoming known as the Hero of the Hidden Leaf (木ノ葉隠れの英雄, Konohagakure no Eiyū, literally meaning: Hero of the Hidden Tree Leaves). He soon proved to be one of the main factors in winning the Fourth Shinobi World War, leading him to achieve his dream and become the village's Seventh Hokage (七代目火影, Nanadaime Hokage, literally meaning: Seventh Fire Shadow).
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations (BORUTO -ボルト- -NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS-, Boruto: Naruto Nekusuto Jenerēshonzu) was a monthly manga spin-off series within the Naruto franchise.[1] The first 51 chapters of the series were written by Ukyō Kodachi, with the author of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, acting as supervisor. Beginning with chapter 52 - released in November 2020 - Kodachi left the series while Kishimoto took over writing duties. Mikio Ikemoto illustrated the manga throughout its run.[2] The series adapts the story-line of Boruto: Naruto the Movie and then continues the story afterward. The manga launched on May 9, 2016, in the 23rd issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump, and is simultaneously published in Weekly Shōnen Jump digital magazine in English. The serialisation of the manga was transferred to V Jump in July 2019.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex (BORUTO -ボルト- -TWO BLUE VORTEX-, Boruto: Tū Burū Borutekkusu) is a monthly manga series that serves as Part II of the Boruto series in the Naruto franchise. As with Part I, the series is supervised and written by Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. On June 1, 2023, it was announced that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, the first part of the manga, had concluded with Volume 20.[1] In V Jump #8, Part II of the manga was announced to resume publishing in V Jump #10.
