Maths Masters - Addition 11A: Adding Two 2-digit Numbers

This session is split into two sessions - 11A and 11B
Firstly, we look at adding two 2-digit numbers to make 100 using the 100 square from Session 9:

using a bead string and/or number line.

In Session 11B we practise adding ten to a 2-digit number using a number line, Base 10 and/or a 100 square.
We then add any two 2-digit numbers by partitioning the numbers into tens and ones and adding the ones together and then the tens together to make a total.
