Former Strong City CEO federally indicted for allegedly scamming millions in COVID-19 relief funds

The former CEO of Strong City Baltimore, a large nonprofit in Baltimore City, pleaded not guilty to one federal fraud and two money laundering charges.

In Baltimore City it's not what you know but who you know. Mayor Scott's new girlfriend is a case in point. Her and her two girlfriends (the non-profit employees) get almost a million dollars from the city to hold a few daytime parties for teenage girls each year. They spend 5-10% on the kids, the rest goes into three salaries and expenses. Imagine that.
