I always avoided getting the end level solo achievements because I didn’t want to grind (plus I’m on console and performance can be an issue). That being said, I took my one-bar sorc into VMA just to get the daily endeavor that day for beating an arena, and I ended up getting my first flawless conquerer. Just walked in on a random Wednesday and got it. Then on Friday I got Spirit Slayer after my first try and Undying Song after a second run farming some of the more unique achievements. No understatement how good these builds are.

Edit: I’ll also say the Vateshran build I used did not have pets, and it ran the trifecta at 32 minutes.

With the warden, you can run strategic reserve with the guardian ultimate.

Thanks, another great video with lots of useful information! Yet one note from me regarding your build. I have done several tries on dummy and it looks like Wrathful strike makes more damage than exploiter and it is optimal choice from these two. Check by yourself, you should get noticable boost and go beyound 100k in your heavy one bar sorc. Wish you all the best!

I followed this build and have completed multiple vet dungeons VRG VAahm Vss vhrchm VVH Vmsa I have gotten spirit slayer and flawless conquer it is an amazing build

Awesome summary. 1 bar was the 1st way getting me out of mediocre low damage. I am close to retirement age, love this game, but my reflexes are not as swift as they used to be 30 years ago. Good stuff! I run a lot of solo dungeons so I replaced Storm Master with Noble Dualist on the Sorc since you can't always be at range in those scenarios. I've tried HA builds on other chars but The HA Sorc is a class above in this playstyle. I have three chars at the moment that run solo dungeons for Undaunted Transmutation Crystals. I have to bank the Oakensoul to spread it around and it's almost a like contest when I switch chars to run the same Undaunted Pledges. For me, the Heavy Attack Sorc is the easiest with Noble Dualist and Sergeants, the Jabby Templar the fastest with Deadly strike and Orders Wrath and my Stamcro is a fun beast with Orders Wrath and Hexos. For running storylines I find the Stamcro with Stampede is instant death to anything in it's way while the HA Sorc takes a little bit to ramp up. The Templar of course is, thankfully, the same as ever. Oakensoul is the game changer for solo players, even more so than the Pale order ring which currently collects dust in the bank.

Definitely miss my game, but sometime back, my PS5 controller kinda went out on me. If not for that, I’d either be continuing with Skyrim or playing some more ESO. Sure miss some of my ESO pals.

Thanks for all the great eso content. I tried a one bar magsorc using undaunted unweaver and crystal weapons as the stamina ability. I made it a xp grinding build with training trait on all gear and heartland as my other 5 piece set. With deadric prey, both pets (healing morph on matriarch), crystal weapons and destro staff wall I did just over 50k on parse dummy. Not the highest by far, but still a functioning build.
I would love to hear someone's thoughts on unweaver set and crystal weapons. The ability seems to add around 20k dmg to each heavy attack when it crits, but I dont know if that is more overall dps than the barbed trap.

Main reason why oaken sorc is still top is basically because. You only lose about 3 skill slot and 1 ult bar compared to other classes losing the whole skill bar. Cause of how sorc pets work.

great vid with lots of good info, im not a top tier player and never will be as its never been my aim and i was using hybrid and heavy attack builds way back in the betas in 2014 so its nice that theyve both finally got some luv, currently my best 1b is on warden at 84k on the trial dummy which is hitting harder than my 82k 2b dk build, im very rarely in vet trials and never in trifecta trials at all so this new easy playstyle from the brokensoul ring is brilliant for me, cheers for the vid its appreciated and i gonna switch a couple skills around on my sorc and try ur setup, ditto with the templar

6:23 concealed weapon never said anything about that skill. I thought the skill bonues proc'd off being invisible/ in stealth. interesting it works with that

Why is Deadly strike better for a heavy attack templar rather than storm or noble? Heavy attacks arent channeled ?
