How a K-Pop Obsessed Support God Stanned NewJeans So Hard He Won Worlds

Inspiration can come from all sorts of places.

Whether is CS:GO, League or Valorant, pros can be driven by anything by the desire to be the best to getting revenge on their haters.

But going into Worlds 2023, League of Legends superstar Ryu "Keria" Min-Seok had a little extra motivation.

Sure, he wanted to win, but he also wanted to meet his favourite K-Pop idols. NewJeans were performing at Worlds, and he was ready to push his limits, both to lift the trophy and to get his merch signed.

So, how does one of the greatest League players in the world go from crying on stage to stanning his idols before lifting the trophy? Why does League’s mechanical king play support of all roles? And did Keria get to finally live out his dream of hanging out with Kpop stars?
