The Ford 4.6 2v engine is probably one of the best modern V8s. Not fast, but they're smooth running and run forever.

The Ford 4.6l isn't one of the worst v8 engines. Its unstressed & underpowered in many applications, but it was used in several sports cars making good power.

Its quite possibly the most reliable engine in the last 30 yrs.

The 4.6 modular is arguably one of the best V8 engines Ford released. If it was "the worst", police departments would have ditched the Vics right away, nor would Koenigsegg use the block as the base for their engines. Can't forget the 4v 4.6 in the Marauder either.
