Story 1: WTF. From that poor guy’s point of view he made a realistic Mike Myers costume with real knife, goes to a party, appears to make friends with some people and goes with them to buy booze. Then all of sudden they take his knife of him, threaten him with it, and chase him down the street. And they think he’s the creep.

I'm from Texas and I have a lot of family in east Texas, especially Houston. I remember wondering why my mother was so careful about my trick or treating. It wasn't until I was a teenager that I learned the truth - Ronald O'Bryan. He's known as "The Man Who Killed Halloween." He's also believed to have possibly killed other kids, though there was no proof, and probably targeted his daughter Elizabeth, though she didn't eat the Pixy Stix. Evil monster. The other death row inmates called him "The Candyman." When I tell people about this nowadays, they don't believe me - then I Google it. They're always shocked.
