Incredible show Gary. Had to stop and get pencil and paper to write down exact `times of products and services that interest me....and there were plenty. Have to rewatch it now! Thanks for taking the time to organize and produce and get all of the info, out to us. Keep riding. Stay safe.

Rumble strips are hell on cross country tours for trikes

It would be great to see pictures of pet ramps and who to order from.

I am looking closely at the Hafney mirrors which come with glare resistance and the ability to articulate in multiple ways when folding the trike or going through close areas.

My battery pack is Lipo4 12volt @7ah that powers my lights for 72 hours straight. With no power saving mode and no turning off the lights make them last that long.
The lights on my trike are is:
1) All are LED type and Automotive lights
2) 9 inch long strip LED fog lights on the front
3) 13 inch long strip LED red tail lights for rear, with one on each side 3 inch plinking red lights with each led strips.
4) 3 feet long light pole on rear of trike
5) all run on the same rechargeable Lipo4 12 volt battery pack.

I also carry basic tool kit from park tools.
The trike is set up for long riding. I have 1000 watt motor with 748.6wh battery pack. I can get around 40 miles on the thrum throttle. On paddle assist level 1 over 100 miles.

I have had this set up for over 6 years run around the USA.(mainly build for commute to work and play afterwards for my daily workout is my GYM.)

When you do your gear review I'd recomend including hiking GPSs because I use the Garmin GPS MAP 64s, they tend to be cheaper than similar featured cycling models, it mounts to the bike, it functions off the bike (of course), it recieves from ANT+ sensors, it can follow a route, and best of all it is powered by AA batteries (will work with rechargables) which we can buy everywhere, cheaply!

Can you put a faring on with a peddle assist. If you can is that too much weight on the boom or does it matter?

I ride only during the day. I have two flags and 2 rear flashing rear lights. I am disabled from a stroke. I was thinking or turn signals because
I can not use hand signals, do yo have any recommendations?

I have a serious addiction problem when it comes to recumbent accessories. I really shouldn’t have watched this. 😉

With trailers... always center the weight just ahead of the axle.. if it is too far forward, it puts too much weight on the trike axle... Too far Back, it will cause the trailer to sway and cause you to swerve..

Light on a helmet that is bright is a big no. Or you want to blind other traffic and want them to crash. These accidents happen.
As you want yo use a bright light, aim it so it can't blind other traffic. Most people point it straight forward, do they see everything, but this is dangerous for other people. You will blind them, what is very dangerous.
Lights are there to be visible on a bike and noting more.
As you ride in places where there is no other light, use a brighter light, but not on your helmet that shines to where you look ad, don't point it straight forward, point it in an angle to the ground.
Remember "I" is the thing that makes that many cyclists die in traffic!
Think of your savety by also thinking about others and how they can experience you!

By jyst using the lights the right way and understanding what is save and what isn't, can lower the amount of accidents a lot and you don't need the Dutch infrastructure for that!

I would say no to trailers, especially for beginners.
