I have a 2017 and love it This is much more reliable than my GS was...Not as fast but every bit as comfortable, I'm 62 and can bang out 500 miles a day on it

Nice piece....we are working on the US side of things and this is a GREAT example of how people will really use the bike. Great job.

just rode the bike as a beginner... (I m 5 foot 7 woman).. great bike to ride ... lots of power, a bit heavy for me but very comfortable riding... I m thinking about getting a Tenere for next riding season... or one from NC 700 series from Honda... I like both !!

The first time I saw Tenere, The impression was like, My god! It's huge! But riding it for one minute was enough to become nicely surprised with the gap between the heavy look and the exceptional maneuverability of this machine and your video is translating just that!

One thing I bet, the Super T is cheaper to maintain. I was a life long Beemer owner, not any more. It became stupid expensive.
Still in the BMW ciub but most of us have gone to Triumphs cuz we are old and miss our we just like other bikes more.

I saw a couple of XTz on the border of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan - hard core Polish riders.

@99Bonzo My missus had a huge get off on a Yamaha TTR125 and was off bikes for years. But got the Super Tenere and she hopped on the back real quick.

I love my ST still thinking less the better I like the balance of these bike and its reliability, still not beated by tons of electronics on its competitors

That would certainly be a contender. I think the future of adventure, in Australia, South Africa and Mid West of America are big singles more purpose built for adventure. The big old blokes who like cruising around on the black top, thinking they are adventure motorcyclists will stick to the big I don't mean cubes, I mean 200 kgs.

There are too many good big bikes out there now to just pick the bmw r1200gs, because it's the king. King's come and go and with current competition from Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha and now KTM with the 1190 I think there is more than one heir to the throne. Then you have the little princes in waiting ....the big singles.
