Welcome to my very first knitting podcast. I'm Andrew and I am knitting and living (and occasionally working) on the Isle of Arran, Scotland.

My first podcast introduces you to my most recent knits and future hopes, as well as introducing myself and showing you one of the places I work on the Island.

No, your mother isn't the only one who made it to the end. You're doing a fine job! I find your podcasts easy to listen to, interesting to look up at while I'm knitting, and generally calming, so I hope you continue to grow. From Texas so you know I'm judgemental :p

As I'm writing this, you have 739 comments. Your podcast is only 7 days old, and you have 1.75K subscribers. I'd call that a resounding success. My biggest appreciation is that you're a fellow Christian. It's very gratifying to see you, and of course as most knitters, love to watch podcasts while I knit, which at present time is a pair of self-striping socks, using a pattern I got off Ravelry that has little rows of "knots" going down the front.... just difficult enough to be interesting. Looking forward to your next podcast.

The fisherman's hat has a medieval feel to it - with that folded piece giving that impression, and I think the colours were lovely. You live in a beautiful part of the world 😊

Hello from Norfolk, Virginia! I'm new to knitting - a wonderful customer of ours at Long's Religious Supply showed me the knit stitch just before the pandemic shuttered everything. I came across one of your later videos and now I am backtracking to watch your journey from the beginning. I love the tours of the island and all the rest. So while I am preparing meals, cleaning house, and knitting, I am watching and listening to you and others who knit, crochet, and sew. And the list of places I wish to visit due to watching these videos is almost as long as the patterns I wish to try! Thank you! Now to episode 2!
