Welcome to one of the most special episodes of The Ranveer Show. I say this because today we have Muttiah Muralitharan, the legendary cricket player, to talk about his journey as a cricketer. He is a Sri Lankan cricket coach, a former cricket player, and a member of the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.

In this episode, Muralitharan dwelled upon some amazing memories of his cricket career. We talked about Sri Lanka’s 1996 World Cup win, his walk-out incident at World Cup 1999, his experience with M.S. Dhoni as a captain, and the mental and physical health of sportsmen. He further shares his opinion on Virat Kohli and what he thinks about his cricket legacy. Furthermore, we talked about his childhood, World Cup 2023, and Sri Lanka’s current situation.

This episode was centered around cricket and Muralitharan’s legacy. If you’re a cricket fan and Muralitharan fan like me, this episode is for you. I hope you enjoy this episode and share your thoughts in the comments section!

"My time is getting over I know"
Muthaiah saying this while not realising that after Shane Warne, if there was one spinner that an entire generation of cricket-playing kids always tried to emulate, it was him! 😢😢

Muralitharan, your time will never be over!!

What a brilliant insight into aging. You can do everything you possibly can but you cannot stop what is inevitable.

Age may be just a number but for doing different things.
No matter how fit the athletes are, their reflexes go down and no one can deny that.

I also agree, eyesight is a big factor in cricket, especially in batting. You've to judge the trajectory of the ball before hitting.

Life is too short to argue just say "No one is better than kohli"😌😌

A lot of people have broken the age stereotypes but not all bodies have the same ability. We are all slowly moving towards our death, so age is a reality.

That's why Dhoni's favourite song is Main Paal Do Paal ka Shayar hun..

Difficult to digest but surely someone better than Kohli, Dhoni, Sachin will come..
That's life....
