Talia Dean meets Dr Raj. Aged just 12 years old, he started to experience persistent back pain and other axial spondyloarthritis symptoms. He received his diagnosis aged just 17. Driven by a desire to help others, he decided he wanted a career in medicine and went on to train to become a doctor.

WOW ~ More people have A.S. than MS & Parkinson's combined, I did not know that !! So glad you shared that FACT ! ...
I'm currently 'waiting' : ( to see the (my 1st) Rheumatologist about Me / A.S. ... The referral was put in 4 months ago & I have approx. 9 more months until my Appt.
This interview REALLLLY encouraged Me : ) !!! & gave me Hope & A Nudge to Persevere & Get More Active !

Thank you for this discussion. I often deal with other health issues, and constantly amazed how these other illnesses have a root in AS. Once again thank you for the discussion.
