Interesting video. It would have been less awkward for you and your audience if you had demonstrated the exercises instead of reading them.

Thank you, so very much! There is a fine line between self diagnosis and gathering legitimate information that supports clear symptoms! I am currently at odds with my well respected GP over my symptoms and he has denied my assumption of a hiatal hernia. He has prescribed medications that are basically anti acids, which have always been detrimental to my problem. I capitulated (temporarily) and told him I will take the RX for his 2 week trial but if I have my expected issues, I will continue to handle this in accordance with your methods that are more in keeping with my holistic approach to self care. This video was “channeled” at exactly the right time and I am grateful❣️

Interesting. Perhaps a diagram as the very least or showing someone doing the exercises would help everyone.

The Lumbar Extension is similar to Upward Dog in Yoga (except that, in Lumbar Extension, you do not lift the knees & lower body off the floor. The front part of the torso (Lift & Flexion) and the Arms are the same.

Thank you for this video. Best of Health to You and ALL who are watching this.

Hiatal hernia is usually diagnosed through CT scan. You don’t need endoscopy. That’s too invasive of a test. You need to go to Gastroenterology. Maybe these exercises help but it can become life threatening so you need to mention going to the emergency room if signs of fever, vomiting, not being able to keep your food down, excessive belching, and severe abdominal pain happen.

I’d swallow 16oz - 20oz of water and perform 20-30 controlled “jumping jacks”. Allow the weight of water and gravity to work the stomach cavity downward. It will take a few weeks, but easy to do.

Wow this was amazing. This all makes so much sense. I’ve started chiropractor once again as it helped with my reflux last time around. But this was very informative and so helpful. Thank you Dr

One treatment for a hernia is getting a neck adjustment. C3, C4, C5, keeps the diaphragm alive! The phrenic never controls the diaphragm and runs down C3, C4, and C5. An unadjusted neck can put pressure on the phrenic nerve causing the diaphragm to open and allow the stomach to slide up. Most likely the neck is subluxated and an adjustment and manual pulling down of the stomach will help. I know this works from personal experience. Not all chiropractors will know this for some reason.

I was just diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and esophagitis after an upper GI endoscopy. I don't have any symptoms such as reflux or difficulty swallowing... My symptoms are more in line with IBS/ SIBO. Bloating, gas, intermittent constipation/ bulky, light colored stools, diarrhea... I am seeing a gastroenterologist to figure out what all is happening with me, and to get treated. I exercise, eat nutritiously, weigh 118 lbs. and don't drink or smoke.

Thank you very much for helping, I do appreciate it .
*I just found out last week, I have a small hiatal hernia* . *I can't take ACV because of Erosion Esophagus burn*
That's how my GI doctor found the "hiatal hernia" from having EGD 4/27/2023.
I had these BEFORE Hiatal Hernia came along >> Acid Reflux, Bloating, Belching, Dysphagia, that's it.

I haven’t been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia per se, but I get pressure/a dull ache in the lower sternum and diaphragm area, chronic burping, and nausea. I have no idea what else it could be. I've had gastritis and an ulcer in the past, but this feels different from my experience with those conditions. If I sit it makes it worse, and I seem to get relief by deep breathing, stretching on the monkey bar at the park, and gently pushing my stomach down, and this morning I got more gurgling than usual from gently pushing down, but the nausea in the mornings is really bad. Seeing a chiropractor in my area for this issue in two weeks, hoping he can help. Thanks for your videos.
