PUL is waterproof fabric . I bought mine at Hobby Lobby because Joann Fabric was out of stock. I got on a 40% off sale, I think was about $4.19 per yard on sale.

Hi. Just wondering. You mentioned cotton and polyester batting like the kind you use for quilting? I thought one should use cotton flannel or hemp cotton. I like your pattern.

You should use absorbing towelling for the lining. Terri towelling? They use it in waterproof sheets, I that's what they use in the commercially made pads

I was wondering what type of water proof cloth you would use for the backing? I have looked many places but not seeing what I think would work for this

I think we cannot wash inside these pads, i always think to make it but later thinking about cleaning i just used old cotton shirts and fold them just like pads and i can wash them by opening all sides, i think the best one is just fold cloth and later you can open it for washing
