Governor Kemp will provide an update on the state's response to Hurricane Helene. He will be joined by Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) Director Chris Stallings, Georgia National Guard General Dwayne Wilson, and Georgia Department of Transportation Commissioner Russell McMurry.

Thoughts and prayers with the 33 casualties and at least 200 that were impacted. Recovery is a process and this state’s leadership is working hard towards completing those objectives for these areas.

These people are stranded with nothing and they are turning people away that want to bring them water and food and FEMA is not even coming back out there cause they don’t have the money to bring them anything, but yet the authorities are turning people Away that want to help out!
