K-Ci definitely made his mark, he's the first dude I ever seen doing the the flick of the head thing, whilst singing (always wondered if it's a twitch)but just thought "this guy stands out man", his voice obviously draws you in when listening to the music, but then watching him is always entertaining, then you have the "ha" the "ooooh yeah" I'm sorry but no one does it with such heart & passion like K-Ci does, when he performs it looks so natural for him. Thanks for this post, l had the pleasure and honor of meeting K-Ci in person in 1992 at the club called Volcano's...l live in Baltimore, Maryland a friend of mine told me K-Ci was in the club l thought he was joking...l saw him in the DJ booth, l didn't see the other three just him, l shaked his hand and said, Hi...then l went back on the dance floor, because celebrities don't like people to keep pushing up on them...(which means bothering them)...one of the bouncers told me he wanted to talk to me, l thought he was joking and so l kept dancing, once he grabbed me by the hand...then l knew he wasn't joking, l told K-Ci l was very proud of his group and told him he has very strong vocals...he mentioned he liked the way l danced, l told him being in the DJ booth how could you see me...when he smiled and laughed l caught the hint, l told him l'm a Teacher and dancing is a hobby (l'm not a professional) since it was a work week l told him l had to leave...l had to go to work in the morning and l appreciate the conversation and have much success, with a hug...he offered me a ride, but l lived close by so l told him l would be okay...he mentioned l was different from other females, l told yes by being a fan, not a groupie and be aware of trouble...plus by me being older it's called...Respect!!!
