Hello friends! In today's "shorts" video, I'm showing you guys how to insert a godet using only French seams! It's very important to start sewing and to stop sewing at that point I mentioned. This technique may take a few attempts to perfect but it's a good one for the books!

This is exactly what I needed! I have a wrap skirt, the kind you just tie around, and it is just entirely too big. I was thinking about turning it into a handkerchief hem skirt with a more structured waistband made out of upcycled jeans. This stitch looks to be just the way to join pieces of the top and bottom fabrics together so all the patterns in the beautiful fabric can ve seen! Thank you!
