Minelab E-Trac recovery speed and target separation test

Показать описание
This is a quick test of the recovery speed and the target separation of the E-Trac. The tested objects are solid silver ring and 1 ounce silver coin between large nails. The silver coin signal is very strong and we have a detection between the nails, but the silver ring is hardly detected. My conclusion is that the e-trac is a pretty slow machine and it is not suitable for trashy areas. You can check my video of the Teknetiks Eurotek Pro recovery speed and you will see how big the difference is.

If you set it up on trash high, fast recovery deep off and discrim you will find it will see through those nails. Need to know how to use this machine correctly to get the best out of it. You make this machine look bad when really it's not set up correctly

Nice test but can you do it again with a small coil.

Everything a few people have said regarding your settings is true. But let me add that I would never take the stock coil into a high trash area: for that I use the Cord Point 5" coil. With your settings, and the stock coil, you set the machine up to fail.

you can discriminate nails and get only the coin.

just a matter of settings,
even my expl 11 is faster in recovery and thats a even slower machine.

truth is that they are not fast, they where not built to be fast .

but they can do better than this
