Here is my complete recording of the Presbyterian 1955 Hymnbook:

1 Jesus shall reign where’er the sun
Does his successive journeys run;
His kingdom stretch from shore to shore,
Till moons shall wax and wane no more.

2 Behold the islands with their kings,
And Europe her best tribute brings;
From north to south the princes meet,
To pay their homage at His feet.

3 There Persia, glorious to behold,
There India shines in eastern gold;
And barbarous nations at His word
Submit, and bow, and own their Lord.

4 To Him shall endless prayer be made,
And praises throng to crown His head;
His name like sweet perfume shall rise
With every morning sacrifice.

5 People and realms of every tongue
Dwell on His love with sweetest song;
And infant voices shall proclaim
Their early blessings on His name.

6 Blessings abound where’er He reigns;
The prisoner leaps to lose his chains;
The weary find eternal rest,
And all the sons of want are blessed.

7 Where He displays His healing power,
Death and the curse are known no more:
In Him the tribes of Adam boast
More blessings than their father lost.

8 Let every creature rise and bring
Peculiar honors to our King;
Angels descend with songs again,
And earth repeat the loud amen!

Glorious. To those of us using as a reference for singing practice, this also sounds very good at 0.5 speed: click on the little gear in the window, choose settings, and select "Playback Speed > 0.5".

Ah, here again, but using the tune - Duke Street for another new hymn - Ye Christian Heralds, to learn how to sing it. I love the words, particularly the ending: And crown our Jesus Lord of all. Have a good weekend Mr. Remillard!

I know that my Redeemer lives;
What joy the blest assurance gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead;
He lives, my everlasting Head!

He lives, to bless me with his love;
He lives, to plead for me above;
He lives, my hungry soul to feed;
He lives, to help in time of need.

He lives, and grants me daily breath;
He lives, and I shall conquer death;
He lives, my mansion to prepare;
He lives, to bring me safely there.

He lives, all glory to his name;
He lives, my Savior still the same;
What joy the blest assurance gives;
I know that my Redeemer lives!

O Jesus, light of heaven’s joy,
And highest hope of mortal man,
The purest love that home can know
Surrounded your frail infancy.

O Mary rich in every grace,
Your privilege was quite unique,
To feed your Son and Infant God,
And softly kiss his tiny cheek.

Most honored patriarch of all,
The Virgin Mother’s strength and stay,
The chosen guardian of your Lord,
Who called you Father day by day.

All three from Jesse’s noble stem,
And born to do salvation’s work,
Pay heed to all the earnest prayers
We trustfully pour out to you.

As your home flourished with the grace
Of every virtue’s fairest flow’r,
In love and peace may all our homes
Reflect a little of your own.

O Jesus, most obedient
To those who held true parents’ place,
And praise to you who reign on high
In Godhead’s perfect Trinity. Amen.
