Another great video! Thank you for elucidating the multi-chapter integration of this part of Matthew, and emphasizing the faith of that Canaanite woman. I've always thought that the apparent brusqueness of His initial replies was simply to underscore her faith, since He knew how strong a faith she had, and knew that she would persist despite His initial disinclination to address her need, lifting her up for praise for eternity, as has been that woman who anointed his feet. May God bless you.

Well done as always. When I was working through the Greek text, I looked at what happened before and afterwards, but I do not know how I missed the theme of bread working through it. I saw the similarities between Peter sinking and the woman crying out. Anyways, very good.

Hello from 2020! Don't come here, 2011. Stay back there, thinking you're so cool playing "Angry Birds".

So much in this structure and quite beautiful. I noticed that you said the disciples were not where they were supposed to be but the Canaanite woman was. Matthew 14: 22 says that Jesus compelled them to get into the ship and go to the other side. How is it that they were not supposed to go? The before and behind thing makes sense, Im just stumbling over the "not supposed to" part
