I wish the music didn't die, fantastic black singer's and band's, great white singer's, great car's. There almost no drug's Lot's of beer, fight's we're done with your fist's, a lot people made just over a dollar an hour, so money any ways did not help that much. But they had the best music ever for dancing. 73 years old and gone soon?

The world is out there going crazy but I'm sitting here traveling back in my time machine to the bygone days of wonderful music. So far I have covered 1967 to 1969 and backwards to 1960. I guess your collections go back to 1950 or 51. In every group of songs I find several favorites that I really really enjoy. Thank you so much for the Memories!

at age 7 in 1959  when ever my Mom would go outside to hang clothes on the clothesline I would run into the kitchen and turn on the radio then have to wait for the tubes to warm up, then i would try to sing along to these songs, Mr blue was my favorite, and it wasnt until  you tube came along I heard it again,   still picture doing that, fun days, back then 7 to 12 yrs old boys had freedom to run . then you learned why these songs were sung . lol

I was 18 in 1959. I still have the records that I bought and I have most of the top ones. Also have a lot of Elvis songs. Living on memories now.
