People blaming Izzy for not running head first into obvious overhands meant to KO him while the opponent literally stands there refusing to do anything other than stand there blocking and waiting for a chance to land a KO, you either just really hate Izzy or don’t understand how fighting works. Yoel wasn’t fighting, he was waiting for Izzy to walk into an almost guaranteed knockout. I lost tons of respect for Yoel tonight, and I feel bad for Izzy getting so much of the blame online along with the entire crowd booing him and cheering for Yoel during his idiotic speech.

I like Romero. But he hardly tried to engage. Izzy was stepping up but all Romero wanted to do was counter. Just for the sheer passivity of Romero, I think Izzy deserves the win.

Yoel had his chances to push forward but he didn't. For about four minutes of every round he'd throw a couple of punches and stand still, then in the fifth round in the last 10 seconds he started to push forward but he did nothing

Izzy was obviously very cautious of Yoel's power. He fought smart and picked him apart with his reach. Much better to take less risk and win by decision than to play with fire and be on the receiving end of an upset.

These fans are finding any excuse. Jon jones ran way more then adesanya but aint getting criticized. Romero stood still the whole fight. If adesanya did that everyone would criticize him. I dont understand the hate on Adesanya. I cant believe people don't realise he had to leave his home country for a different one. then got bullied for no reason and was being called names and racial comments towards him. Hes just a humble guy who's Overexcited and Happy about his life. Dont fans realise the criticism ill build his ego bigger. Hes only using his ego to clap back and prove fans wrong.
