11 yrs ago I moved out and this coming july will make it 6 yrs of complete "No Contact" from my family. I grew tired of being mistreated and neglected from my own family and so called friends.

I cried so bad because I knew that I was going to be all alone then I realized, , I've already been alone. Always felt alone so actually being alone is better especially without that type of energy lurking around.

It was lonely at first but as time went in I quickly got accustomed to being alone not lonely. I'm at peace and once you get a taste of it ain't no going back. The sense of freedom and to simply be is priceless.

Hugs to you all struggling but it's possible to leave those family members behind. There's nothing worse than being surrounded by people who say they "Love You" yet you feel alone in a room full of them.

Finally! A fair and honest message about Jacob! I've been so weary of messages bad mouthing Jacob when so much was against him! His mother did all of this to him. She started the ball rolling against him. I see God favouring and blessing Jacob. So what's the matter with those in our pulpits making Jacob out to be the bad guy? I find it extremely suspicious whenever certain family members will NOT allow each other to move far away into another country...to pursue their very own private and personal lifestyle, or to transact businesses abroad. Instead, they create a BIG ruckus... demanding to FOLLOW... you around...across the globe. As if they need to monitor your every move...simply to REPORT back to others about your everyday activities and your whereabouts. Hence, treating you like a CHILD who is simply NOT capable of governing themselves.
