We have a similar flavour in India called Kesar Pista. Kesar is saffron and Pista is Pistachio.

Persian here. Also add powder sugar. The saffron has a bitter taste, if you don't add powder sugar will not be as sweet.

I worked in the official Akbarmashti Ice Cream store for 3 years.
Akbar Mashti invented that kind of Ice cream over a 100 years ago in Iran.
We made our Ice cream ourselves.
It’s called special traditional ice cream.

The wafers to make your own ice cream sandwiches just give me the best idea! I can set up a little make your own ice cream sandwich bar during the summer for my kids! We can flavor our own ice cream let it set in the freezer and then decorate our wafers! Put chocolate sauce and sprinkles and all that stuff!

There are cream frozen pieces inside and pistachio! That's the traditional way we eat it in Iran :)
